1 cup white corn syrup
2 cups granulated sugar
½ cup water
1 lb. raw peanuts
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. soda
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine syrup, sugar and water in a sauce pan
2. Bring slowly to 230º or until syrup spins a thread
3. Add peanuts and continue to cook to 300º
4. Remove from heat
5. Add butter, vanilla, soda, and salt
6. Stir until blended
7. Pour in 2 well-buttered cookie sheets
8. Stretch with forks or hands until is thin
