Mix 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. vinegar, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, 1/4 tsp. dry mustard, 1/8 tsp. pepper and 1 clove crushed garlic.
Wash and drain 1 to 2 pounds of fresh mushrooms add to marinade. Cover and refrigerate at LEAST 2 HOURS. To serve the mushrooms, drain the liquid off of the mushrooms, put the mushrooms in a serving dish and sprinkle them with chopped parsley. Save the marinade in a tightly covered jar and use it again for mushrooms or for salad dressing.
After 8 to 10 hours the mushrooms start to wilt a little but the are still good.
