Crab Fondue

This is one for your chafing dish, good and easy.
Melt 1/2 pound of butter (not margarine) and 1 pound of Velveeta cheese in a large bowl in the microwave. Stir with a wire whip to blend. Add 1 tablespoon of white wine. (I usually add more, taste it and you can tell if you want more.) and blend well with the wire whop. Stir in 3/4 to 1 pound of chopped crab meat. (I have used the imitation crab meat and no one could tell because of the strong flavor of the cheese mixture. Serve this in a chaffing dish with crackers or French bread cubes or both!
