3C all purpose Flour
1/4C Sugar
1tbsp Baking Powder
1/2tsp Salt
3/4C cut & chilled unsalted Butter
3/4C+1tbsp Milk
1/4C Honey
2tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4C lightly toasted & chopped Pecans


CINNAMON CREAM
1/2C Whipping Cream
2tbsp Sour Cream
2tbsp Sugar
1/2tsp Cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375F

Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl, OR in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment

Cut butter into dry ingredients until it resembles coarse meal

Stir together 2/3C milk, honey and vanilla and add to dough
Mix just until dough comes together and add pecans

Turn dough onto lightly floured surface

Roll dough twice to a 1-inch thickness, each time folding in half
(this is the secret to flaky scones)

Roll the dough to 3/4-inch thickness and cut desired shapes

Place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with remaining milk

Bake 15-18mins OR until tops are nicely browned

CINNAMON CREAM
Whip cream to soft peaks and whisk in sour cream, sugar and cinnamon
