2 & 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. unsalted butter, room temperature
1 & 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1/3 c. coarse sugar (additional for rolling)
2 tsb. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350º, line baking sheet with parchment paper
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch & salt in medium sized bowl & set aside.
Cream butter and brown sugar in large mixing bowl until light in color & fluffy.
Add egg and milk until well combined.
Add egg yolk and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Add dry ingredients and mix until the dough comes together.
Create 1 & 1/2 tbsp. sized balls of cookie dough. Roll into ball and roll into additional sugar.
Bake for 7-9 minutes - Remove just before the edges turn golden brown
