1 ½ lbs. boneless pork shoulder; cut into 1-inch pieces
2 15-oz. cans hominy; drained and rinsed
2 c. chicken broth
1 16-oz. jar salsa verde
2 poblano peppers; seeded and chopped
½ bunch fresh cilantro
To taste: salt
10 6-in. corn tortillas
¼ c. sour cream
1 romaine heart; shredded
1 avocado; diced

Directions:
Directions:
1. Toss pork, hominy, broth, salsa, poblanos, cilantro and ½ t. salt in slow cooker. Tear two of the tortillas into small pieces and add to the cooker and stir.
2. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
3. Warm the remaining tortillas according to their package instructions.
4. Serve stew and top with sour cream, lettuce, cilantro and avocado. Serve with the warm tortillas.
