1 lbs. boneless pork shoulder; cut into 1-inch pieces
2 15-oz. cans hominy; drained and rinsed
2 c. chicken broth
1 16-oz. jar salsa verde
2 poblano peppers; seeded and chopped
bunch fresh cilantro
To taste: salt
10 6-in. corn tortillas
c. sour cream
1 romaine heart; shredded
1 avocado; diced

Directions:
Directions:
1. Toss pork, hominy, broth, salsa, poblanos, cilantro and t. salt in slow cooker. Tear two of the tortillas into small pieces and add to the cooker and stir.
2. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
3. Warm the remaining tortillas according to their package instructions.
4. Serve stew and top with sour cream, lettuce, cilantro and avocado. Serve with the warm tortillas.
