Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups cornmeal
3 T sugar
1/2 cup flour
3 eggs
1 2/3 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup oil
Hot peppers to taste ( jalapeņo)
1 small can creamed corn
1 large onion chopped
1 1/2 cups grated longhorn or cheddar cheese
4 t baking powder ( or use self rising flour and cornmeal)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and place in 9x13 pan. Bake at 475 degrees for about 30 minutes.
