2 Pints (4 Cups) fresh strawberries, washed and stems removed
4 Cups of sugar
1/2 Teaspoon lemon juice
1 (1.75 ounce) package regular powered fruit pectin (not instant)
3/4 Cups of water
5 (half pint) canning jars with lids

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut strawberries into quarters and place in a blender with the lemon juice.

2. Pulse the strawberries about 5-10 times. Do not over pulse. You should still see little pieces of strawberries.

3. In a saucepan, bring water to boil. Stir in fruit pectin and boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

4. Pour mixture into the strawberries and stir with wooden spoon for 2-3 minutes.

5. Pour the jam into the canning jars. Make sure to leave at least 1/2 inch from the top of the jar. Place lids on the jars.

6. Allow jarred jam to cool on the counter for 24 hours in order for them to set.

7. Store set jam in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
