5 large ripe bananas
4 eggs (well beaten)
1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat bananas until liquid, combine with eggs and set aside. Cream together shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add banana mixture and blend. Add sifted dry ingredients and stir until smooth. fold in both nuts and chocolate chips.
Bake at 350º for 45 mins.
