8 cups flour
4 tsp salt
⅓ cup baking powder
⅓ cup sugar
1 lb (whole package) shortening plus ⅓ cup (or you can use ⅓ cup margarine)


Mix and leave in container until ready to use.

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 450º

Mix 2 cups of biscuit mix with ¾ cup milk.
Roll out on floured counter, cut our with pastry cutter (or floured glass of your choice)

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, should be golden on top
