2 cups Flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp shortening or margarine
grated rind and juice of 1 orange plus water to make 3/4 cup
1 beaten egg
1 cup raw cranberries cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350

Grease a loaf pan (9x5x3 inch).
Measure flour and blend dry ingredients.
Mix in shortening, orange rind, juice and egg.
Fold in cranberries and pour into pan.

Bake 1 hour.

Cool thoroughly before slicing.

Enjoy!
