2 c. flour
2 1/2 T. cold butter
1/4 t. salt
2 t. baking powder
2 T. sugar
3/4 c. milk

FILLING:
2 T. butter, softened
2 c. finely cut rhubarb
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon

SAUCE:
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 T. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 t. vanilla
1/4 t. salt

Directions:
In saucepan combine sauce ingredients (except vanilla), bring to boil, cook and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and add vanilla and set aside. For the dough, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk and mix quickly. Do not over mix. Gather dough into a ball and roll out on a flour surface into a 9x12 rectangle. Spread with softened butter, arrange rhubarb on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon- sugar. Roll up like cinnamon rolls, and cut into 2" slices. Arrange slices cut side up in greased 9x13 pan. Pour sauce over these. Bake at 350' for 35-40 minutes or golden brown.
