3 eggs
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1 c. mashed potatoes
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. nutmeg

ICING:
1/4 c. melted butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 T. milk
2 c. sugar (it doesn't say powdered, but i wonder?)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream ingredients 4 minutes. Add eggs, mix well. In a cup, mix 1 t. soda & 1 c. buttermilk. Add to the aformentioned ingredients. Add 2 c. flour. Mix 3/4 c. walnuts with 2 t. flour and to the above. Bake at 350' for 50-60 minutes.
Icing: Cook butter and brown sugar for 2 minutes. Add milk. Cool to lukewarm and gradually add sugar. Beat till thick enough to spread.
