Doubletree Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

1 c. butter; softened
1 c. sugar
c. packed brown sugar
4 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 t. lemon juice
3 c. flour
t. baking soda
1 t. salt
t. cinnamon
3 c. semi-sweet chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 375. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Place butter in large bowl, and cream lightly with mixer. Add sugars and beat on medium about 2 minutes.
3. Add eggs one at a time; beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla and lemon juice and mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, oatmeal, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed butter mix and blend.
5. Add chocolate chips and walnuts and stir to combine.
6. Using a cup measure; drop batter onto pans 2-3 inches apart.
7. Bake 13-15 minutes or light brown on the edges. Cool on wire racks.

I used to work for the Doubletree Hotel here in Colorado Springs. This is the closest recipe I have seen to their cookies they used to give out to new clients coming to the hotel.
