1 box Vanilla Cake Mix (plus ingredients to make)
4c chopped Strawberries, plus sliced to garnish
1/4c Water
1/4c Sugar
1T Lemon Juice
2tsp Lemon Zest, divided
1tsp Vanilla
8oz Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 9x13 pan with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray. Prepare cake ad directed and bake. Cool completely. In medium saucepan, over med/hi heat, combine strawberries, water, lemon juice, 1tsp lemon zest and vanilla. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring often until strawberries reduce and mix thickens slightly, about 8 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely. poke holes all over cake, pour strawberry sauce over holes and spread cool whip on top. Can garnish with fresh strawberry slices.
