1½ lb. ground round beef
¼ c. dry minced onion
2 tsp. dry minced garlic
¼ c. parsley flakes
½ c. chili sauce
2 eggs
1 c. Italian style bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together with hands and form into a firm loaf. (If too wet, add more bread crumbs.) Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Heat small amount of bacon fat (or oil) in a dutch oven or electric frying pan. On high heat, brown all sides of the loaf. Then lower the heat and add about 1 cup of water. Simmer, cover and cook for an hour.
(Add water occasionally if needed to prevent burning and sticking.) Let stand 10 minutes, then slice and enjoy.
