1 c. uncooked rice
1 10.5 oz. can french onion soup
1 soup can of water
1 stick of margarine/butter
1 4-oz. can mushrooms; undrained
1 8-oz. can water chestnuts; sliced (opt.)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 300.
2. Mix all ingredients in 2-quart casserole dish and bake 1 hours.
