1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 1/2-5 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter until light and fluffy.

Add sugar and combine well.

Add egg, milk, and vanilla, followed by flour, baking powder and salt.

Refrigerate dough atleast 20 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350. Roll dough to about 1/2 inch thick.

Cut into desired shapes.

Bake for 8-10 minutes
