1 lb lean ground beef
2 tsp sugar
½ c chopped fresh or frozen onion
1 tsp salt
⅔ c bottled bbq sauce
½ tsp ginger
¼ c chopped parsley
2 - 8 oz pkgs refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 egg, beaten

Directions:

Cook ground beef and onion in a 10" skillet over medium-high heat until meat is browned, stirring constantly. Stir in all remaining ingredients except biscuits and egg.
Preheat oven to 450º. On lightly floured surface with floured rolling pin, roll 2 biscuits together into a 5" circle. Place biscuit circle in palm of hand; spoon about ¼ c meat mixture into center. With other hand, gather circle along circumference to form a closed pouch; pinch firmly to seal. Place pouches, sealed side up, on foil-lined baking sheet. Repeat, making 9 more, arranging them 2" apart on baking sheet. Brush biscuit tops with egg; bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from baking sheet; serve warm.
