1 gallon apple cider
1quart cranberry juice
1 quart orange juice
1 cup brown sugar
30 whole cloves
1 star anise
20 allspice berries
6 cinnamon sticks, divided into pieces
6 apples
1 quart bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine juices and brown sugar into a stockpot or slow cooker.
Place half of the spices in a piece of cheesecloth, tied with twine, and add it to the pot.
Cover and cook on low for four hours.
While the juice is steeping, roast the apples. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Press remaining cloves into the skin of each apple. Place in a baking pan and bake for 1 hour.
When ready to serve, reheat the juices over low heat, and add the apples and bourbon.
