1 kilo beef mince
4 finely diced medium carrots
3 finely diced onions
1 finely diced turnip (can parboil if you want)
4 finely diced medium potatoes (can parboil if you want)
1/2 cup plain flour
puff pastry sheets
1/2 cup liquid chicken stock
2 tablespoons powdered chicken stock - added to water to make a liquid (maybe half a cup?)
1/2 cup white wine
1 cup frozen peas
2 tablespoons woestershire sauce
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons mixed herbs

Directions:

Brown mince in a little garlic & chillie - set aside to cool
Add vegies to pan, soften and then add mince back into the pan
Cook for 20 minutes
Add 1/2 cup of flour and mix through (leave for a few minutes)
Add 1/2 liquid chicken stock, 1/2 cup white wine, 1/2 cup of pre prepared powdered chicken stock liquid, woester sauce, mixed herbs and tomato sauce
Cover and cook for 10 minutes
Add frozen peas and cook for a further 5 minutes
Prepare puff pastry - Make sure mixture is cool and don't overfill. Bind edges with egg, score them a bit, bit of egg wash on top also.
Put on a greased tray in the fridge for a while
Cook for 10 minutes @ 220 degrees, then for 20 - 30 minutes @ 180 degrees
