Bread Pudding Recipe

4 cups milk
cup butter (melted)
2 eggs
cup raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups bread crumbs (coarse)
cup sugar
teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350F.

Heat milk to scalding. Cool and add butter, eggs raisins, and vanilla.

In medium bowl, mix bread crumbs, sugar, salt, cinnamon or nutmeg.

Place bread crumb mix on bottom of 9x13 inch casserole dish.

Pour milk mixture over bread crumb mix and bake for 40-45 minutes.
