1/3 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups mild (scald)
3 egg yolks (slightly beaten)
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar & salt in bowl. Heat milk in a double boiler. Pour milk over mixture a little at a time. Put back on double boiler. Cook until thick. Add about 3 tbsp. of mixture to beaten eggs. Mix. Put eggs back into mixture and cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat. While cooling add butter & vanilla.

Fill a baked crust to make banana cream(layer bananas on crust) or pineapple (mix drained crushed pineapple with filling) cream pie. Top pie with whipped cream.
