Ingredients:  
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar.

Add vanilla and then add eggs one at a time, beat well.

Mix flour, baking soda and salt, then add to above mixture to form a dough.

Wrap in plastic and refrig. overnight or at least for a few hours.

Roll out thin and cut out shapes. Dust with colored sugar as desired.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.
