1 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
6 eggs
3 to 4 tsp. lemon or almond extract

4 cups flour
8 tsp. baking powder

Frosting:
1/2 box confectionery sugar
3 tsp. lemon or almond extract
warm milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the crisco, sugar, eggs and extract. Batter will be foamy. Mix flour and baking powder well. Mixture will be stiff. Drop a teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes until just barley golden. Cookies won't look done but will be. If you bake longer, cookies will be dry.


Frosting: Slowly add warm milk to conf. sugar. Add enough milk to mixture to make it runny. Add extract. Frost on cooled cookie.
