2 cups uncooked elbows or shells
1 stick butter
1lb. small curd cottage cheese
4 oz. (1/4 lb.) cheddar cheese (grated)
salt & pepper to taste
3 cups of boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Pour uncooked macaroni in a butter 9" x 13" baking dish. Slice butter into patties and distribute on macaroni. Spread cottage cheese evenly on top (small teaspoons to spread) Pour boiling water over all. Salt & pepper to taste. Cover with grated cheese. Bake 350 for 1 hour (or 1-1/4 hour).
