2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 2 tsp. oregano
1 cup minced onion 1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck 1/2 tsp. rosemary
2 cups (16 oz can) tomatoes 1/4 tsp. pepper
6 oz.can tomato paste 1 - 8 oz pkg. lasagna noodles
1/2 cup (4 oz. can) mushrooms w/liquid 2 cups (1 pt.) cottage cheese
1 minced clove garlic 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. salt 8 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese

Melt butter in large skillet. Add onions. Sauté until tender. Add ground chuck; brown well. Drain off fat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms and liquid, garlic and seasonings. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse. Place one-third of sauce in bottom of a shallow baking dish (13x9x2 inches) Top with crisscross layer of lasagna noodles. Add one-half of the cottage cheese and one-half remaining sauce. Top with half the Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with Mozzarella. Bake in moderate oven (350º) for 25 to 35 minutes
