Ingredients:  
1 C chopped dates
1 C chopped nuts
C butter
2 eggs
tsp salt
1 C purity flour
1 C graham or purity whole wheat flour
1 C brown sugar
⅓ tsp. soda dissolved in ⅓ warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, salt, well beaten eggs, and dissolved soda.
Add flour, dates and nuts. Mix well and place in oiled baking dish
Bake in slow oven of 300 degrees for 1 hour
