Grandma's Chocolate Pie Recipe

1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
½ stick butter
3 heaping tablespoons flour
3 heaping tablespoons cocoa
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Brown ready-made pie crust and let cool

In a 2 quart pan, cream butter, egg yolks, and sugar together.

Alternate milk, flour and cocoa a little at a time. Mix Well.

Cook on medium heat while sitting often and until mixture boils and gets thick. Add vanilla. Cool and pour into crust.


Beat 2 egg whites (room temperature), 3 tablespoons sugar, ¼ teaspoon cream of tarter
Top with ®Cool Whip
