2 c lentil
4 c veggie stock OR water
halved onion
2 small carrots chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1 sprig sage

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes until lentils are tender but firm.
Cool and refrigerate until needed.

Add 1 can of peeled tomatoes if so desired.
