Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c sugar
½ c Karo white syrup
dash salt
1-1½ c shelled raw peanuts
1 T margarine
1 t baking soda
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Raw shelled peanuts are hard to find in the grocery store except during the Christmas season. I usually buy several bags when I find them and freeze to use throughout the year. Thaw before using.
In large microsafe bowl, mix sugar, syrup, and salt.
Cook 3 min. on high, stir.
Add peanuts, stir, and cook 3 min.
Add margarine, baking soda, and vanilla.
Spread quickly (as thin as possible) on Pam-sprayed cookie sheet.
Cool and break into pieces.
Let bowl cool before adding water and detergent to soak before washing.
Dishwasher won't clean without pre-soaking cooled bowl in water.
If you add water too soon, bowl will break.
