1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter or shortening
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. (3oz.) gelatin (any flavor)
1 egg
food coloring for sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and powder; cream butter and gradually add sugar and gelatin. Cream well after each addition. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour; mix until smooth. Refrigerate and harden. Roll out dough and cut. Sprinkle with sugar.
Cook 400º for 13-14 min or until golden brown on ungreased cookie sheet.
