3 level tbsps. Wilton Meringue Powder Mix
4 cups sifted confectioners sugar (approx. 1 lb.)
6 tbsps. water (1 less tbsp. for stiffer icing)

- Beat all ingredients at low speed for 7 to 10 mins. (10 to 12 mins. on high speed for portable mixer), until icing forms peaks.
- To give royal icing decorations a shiny, snow-like effect, add 1 tbsp. corn syrup to 1 cup royal icing.
