2.5 cups all purpose flour
3tbs. packed light brown sugar
1tbs. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut into thin slices
1 15 oz can unsweetened solid-packed pumpkin

preheat oven 400º, grease a cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
in a large bowl mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and spices.
cut the butter into dry ingredients until mixture looks like cornmeal, stir in pumpkin and mix until a dough is formed.
on well floured surface with well floured hands pat/roll dough to 1/2 inc thickness, cut out 2 inch square buiscuits
place dough on cookie sheet cook for 15-20 mins
