2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp.. sugar
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 cup shortening
2 1/2 tsp. yeast
1/4 cup very warm water.
3/4 cup buttermilk(at room temperature

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast with very warm water and room temperature buttermilk and let rest 15 min.
Mix dry ingredients and cut in the shortening. Mix yeast in to incorporate.
Pour on a floured board and knead & put dough in a greased bowl in a warm place. Let rise to double in size. Knead again. Divide into 12 balls, roll in hands until about the size of a lemon. Place a piece of butter in the middle and fold over.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes. This is shown with the Crab & Corn Bisque in this book.

Who is Aunt Grace? We have been asking this question almost every Thanksgiving since Scott & Chris were little. Do one can remember but we still make them almost every year. They are delicious! You probably want to double the recipe..
