Beef with Sour Cream Recipe

1 lb. lean round steak
1/4 c. flour, seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
2 Tbsp. olive oil
3/4 onion, chopped
1 c. beef broth (I use low sodium)
1/2 teas. thyme
8 oz. sliced white mushrooms
1 small pkg. frozen green peas
1/2 c. sour cream
3 c. hot cooked rice (I use brown rice)

Cut meat into narrow strips.
Dredge in seasoned flour.
Quickly brown in hot oil.
Add onions, broth, and thyme.
Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes or until tender.
Add mushrooms.
Cover and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
Add frozen peas and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Stir in sour cream.

Serve over rice.
