tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 c flour
c butter (room temp)
1 c light brown sugar
c granulated sugar
tbsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
c milk
1 or 2 granny smith apples - depends on how much you love apples :)

2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 and spray 9x5 loaf pan

Whisk together salt, baking power, and flour. Set aside

Beat the butter, both sugars and cinnamon on medium speed - scraping sides as necessary

Add both eggs and vanilla and continue mixing.

Turn mixer on low speed and add flour mixture and milk in alternating additions, starting and ending with the flour.

Add peeled apple pieces and stir until combined then pour in the prepared pan

Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on batter.

Bake for 50-55 minutes until bread is set and toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow to cool in a pan for 10 minutes then remove and let cool completely
