Cream 1 c butter, 2 c sugar, and 4 eggs
Add 4 oz. melted unsweetened chocolate and 1 t. peppermint extract and beat well
Add 1 c + 2 T. flour. Stir just until mixed
Spread on large greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 min at 350 degrees. Don't over bake. Cool.
Combine: 6 T. margarine, 4 T. milk, 2 c. powdered sugar (may need more to make a thicker frosting), 2 t. peppermint extract, and 6-8 drops green food coloring
Spread on cake, then refrigerate
Whip together until almost cool: 12 oz. chocolate chips, melted, 12 T. margarine
Spread on cold green layer, Cool thoroughly.
