1 box of yellow/pineapple cake mix

¼ lb. butter

Jar of maraschino cherries
Whole walnuts (or pieces)
Round or square cast iron skillet

Directions:
Directions:
Put ¼ lb. butter in pan. Add ½ - ¾ brown sugar in pan. Add pineapple slices. Add cherries (1 in each pineapple and around the edges.) Add walnuts or walnut pieces and spread around top.

Mix cake mix with two eggs and the liquid from the cans of pineapple rings. Add some water if it appears too thick. Pour into skillet. Bake at 350º for 45 to 55 minutes. Check with toothpick for doneness. (Toothpick should come out dry.) Very carefully turn the frying pan upside down on a platter. (It is a messy business so be very careful that you don't get burned.) Put in refrigerator with toothpicks and cover with waxed paper.
