2 c sugar
1 t soda
1 c buttermilk
c butter
1 t vanilla
2 c pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except vanilla and pecans. Put in large mixing bowl. Microwave on 60% for 15 minutes. (this might need to be adjusted for current microwaves). Stir. Continue cooking for 13 minutes (or until soft ball stage). Add vanilla. Beat until soft peaks form. Stir in pecans and press into a buttered 12x17 pan.
