Directions:
Directions:
1st Day - Add 4 tablespoons lye to each gallon of water. Cover olives with solution and soak for 24 hours.

2nd Day - Add 2 tablespoons to each gallon water and soak for 48 hours.

3rd day - Rinse WELL. Soak in plain water two days. Rinse often.

5th Day - 1/2 cup salt in each gallon of water. Change daily for 7 days and weekly thereafter.

(Not sure what happened to the 4th day??. Just following recipe card!)
