2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cream of tarter
4 c. flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ c. milk
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat 375º

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla together. Stir in alternate milk and dry ingredients. Use enough flour to handle easily. Roll to thickness desired or roll into balls and flatten. Sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until light brown.
