1/2 cup butter plus 6 tbsp.
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown Sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 cup oatmeal (old fashioned or quick)
1 cup chocolate chips or raisins

Heat oven to 350º - In a large bowl blend butter with sugar and brown sugar - Add eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and beat well. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips and/or raisins.

Bake on 350º for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown.
