1 box of jello (regular size)
1 package of cool whip (1 cup)
1/3 c chopped pecans

1. Make Jello using only 1 ½ cup water.
2. Let it partially cool until it starts to thicken but isn't fully firm.
3. Fold in cool whip
4. Add nuts.

The original recipe given to me years ago used strawberry Jello and about ½ c chopped pecans. Grandma Ellis called this Nut Papaya.
