1 Tbsp. cornstarch
6 Tbsp. sugar
½ cup water
3 egg whites
few grains of salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix cornstarch, sugar, water, and salt.
2. Cook in microwave for 1 minute.
3. Stir it and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute more until clear and thick.
4. Beat egg whites until frothy.
5. Continue beating while slowly pouring in cooked mixture.
6. Beat for 5 minutes.
7. Pour over cooled filling in pie shell, sealing edges to crust.
8. Bake in 450º oven 5-7 minutes. Be sure and watch it! (Mom says if your oven runs hot, turn it down to 425º and check at 5 minutes.)
