3 large ripe bananas
½ cup melted margarine (butter)
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup sugar
2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease two loaf pans and pre-heat oven.
Mix bananas and sugar together.
Add butter.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Add vanilla and and mix well, then add nuts.
Bake in two prepared loaf pans at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

Check with a toothpick. Do not overbake. I feel like this takes less time in two pans.

Mom has made this bread for as long as I can remember. When there are 3 bananas beginning to get overripe, you can count on this bread. I think it was Aunt Nora's recipe.
