Mom's Christmas Cookies Recipe

2½ cups of flour
¾ cup of sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup of butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon of lemon or almond extract
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients and set aside.

Soften butter and add wet ingredients.

Combine wet and dry ingredients.

Load into a cookie gun and place on a baking sheet.

Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.

You may decorate with sprinkles or fruit when they come out of the oven while still hot.
