4 Eggs
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Shortening (Margarine)
1 pound Carrots, Grated
1/2 cup White Raisins, Plumped
1/2 cup Finely Chopped Nutaspoons
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour with baking powder and baking soda. Add alternating, carrots and flour mixture. Add raisins and nuts.
Grease and line with wax paper a 9" x 13" pan. Bake in a 350º F over about 1 hour.
