2-3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1 large head of cauliflower or broccoli, cut into small pieces
2 cups of water
3 chicken or vegetable bullion cubes
6 tbsp butter
6 level tbsp flour
1 qt milk

Directions:
Directions:
Put potatoes, vegetable, water and bullion cubes in large pot. Boil until soft. Mash (do not puree).

While that is cooking, melt butter in another pan. Add the flour, mix quickly, and then add the milk all at once. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until bubbly and thickened. Add to vegetable mixture and serve.
