Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1C rinsed and drained green OR yellow Split Peas
4C Ham OR Chicken stock
1/3C chopped Onion
1/3C chopped Celery
1/3C chopped Carrots
1 peeled and diced Potato
1 Bay leaf
1C diced and cooked ham
Salt and Pepper to taste and added at the end of cooking time

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in large soup pot

Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low

Cover and simmer- stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender and soup has thickened- about 45mins to 1hour
